That’s a bit disappointing

If you use drive the deal and carwow, you can now add beats audio to your UK GTi.
Beats and manual gearbox were the 2 main additions to this model for the 2019 year.
Manual gearbox must be right around the corner at this stage.

Going slightly off GTI subject
Does that mean a manual 1.5TSI "evo" 150ps R-line Polo might finally be available for 2019? rather the only 1.0TSI 115 (or 95ps) option before the nothing jump between in engines till the 200ps GTI?

When the 1.5 EVO engined R-Line appeared in the initial model line up at the end of last year before being quickly removed, it was DSG only, so don’t be surprised if there isn’t a manual version if the 1.5 EVO engine ever makes it into the Polo.

"The 1.5 engined R-Line (Highline)has appeared on the German VW website :: Only in DSG form tho'
Nearly the same base price as a manual GTI ?!"

Be shame if only a DSG 1.5TSI R-line only option appears & no manual.
But then if that means trying to get too emissions type approval's then could understand why.
Yes the price of it would push it close a base GTI Polo...but then do you lose a lot in base GTI to GTI+ (not worried about digital active dash say for example), LED headlights yes if it's a GTI could probably live without rest of the "+" package but I suspect you would lose a lot in a Polo GTI keeping trade-in value if basic GTI over the GTI+ would hold.

1.5 with DSG, with technology to turn off 2 cylinders, etc ... well GTI with manual is better choice by my opinion
//I think GTI offers great fun and value for that money. Also anyone else noticed that front wings are made from plastic?
