Airbag

Hi all I put this on the general site for electrics but maybe should have out it on here as its a 6n polo.My polo is I think a 6n model as 1999 year 1.4 cl. My airbag light is on and diagnostics tell me it's a connection on the drivers side seat .I have looked under the drivers seat but can't see any wiring .where else could be causing this? Mot is out so can't use it till I sort this problem!heeeelp

The seatbelts are connected to the airbag system. It could be the inertia reel inside the door pillar
