How to Remove airbag and steering wheel?

Hello @all,

I would like to swap the steering wheel for a multifunction steering wheel.

See following thread and below questions from me.

I have now the right steering wheel and the right airbag cable.

Unfortunately I do not know at the moment how to release the airbag on the steering wheel. Need to be pierced on the back of the two holes? Is that correct? See attached photos and the yellow marker. The airbag must be removed before the steering wheel. I would be very happy if you could help me. Unfortunately, VW does not help me.

Our Car is a Polo 6C from July 2017.
