Only really seen one other GTI, but plenty of regular Polos and quite a few of them have been guys my age (30). Feels good to sit in the GTI when the guy next to you at the lights is in his Comfortline gawking your GTI.

Women also take their time smiling at you as they pass on their bikes... which is different considering it’s just a measly Polo and not some fancy supercar.

So you’re saying it’s because I’ve been working out and is a good looking guy? All the better [emoji6]

I expect there's only one thing you've been working out on, I'm surprised you can get in the doors due to your swollen ego
Now if you were talking about everybody gawking at your car, if it was an Audi R8 V10 I could understand, but in a VW polo GTI? There is only one model under the Polo and that's a VW UP.
You were correct in your statement when you said " it’s just a measly Polo and not some fancy supercar." Women must be pretty desperate around your area?

I regularly find a few people giving my GTI+ a second look as they walk past our house,

I think there's another explanation. With the new one being so big and the Polo GTI having no polo badges on it, people are thinking it's the new Golf GTI. Someone asked me the other day how long the new Golf GTI had been out, then I told him it was the Polo GTI. He was surprised by how big it is.

Gave my car its first exterior clean since ceramic coating.

Cleaned with Autoglym Polar Blast Snow Foam, then two bucket method with CarPro Reset shampoo, then dried and applied CarPro Elixer. Tidied up the glass with Autoglym FastGlass. I would have dressed the tyres with VRP but still waiting on tyre brushes and applicator sponges.

Looks good l3rady. Really like your wheels - what make, size / offset are they?

Thanks, wheels are Calibre Suzuka Gunmetal 8Jx18 5x100 ET45 all around. Rears needed an additional 3mm spacers to clear brake callipers due to the curvature of the back alloy face to the hub was too shallow.

I don’t think the Golf 8 is going to be handsome as the Polo.
Based on the spy pictures .
The headlights seem to be rendered as the current facelift scirocco gts front end.

Washed the car yesterday already but the weather is terrible at the moment. Sunshine and rain

Went this morning for some new wheels for the GTI.

Went to a work conference and during a break I popped to fetch something from the car only to find a couple walking around and admiring it.
Stood and took some questions from them for a little while but remarkably they had no idea it was in fact a Polo.
They were thrown off by the size of it.
