Hi, I recently replaced my brake pads with some brembo pads (P85 148), but I don't like the feel of the pedal.
my gti has the 312mm discs (Original pads 8X0698151), i'm having difficulty finding brake pads

these are the options i found (a bit expencive)
I wanted to try some EBC pads ( redstuff) but I can't find the compatible ones
I would like to hear your opinions, and which ones you are using
thanks in advance for your feadback

Re: Polo 6C GTI brake pads
I'm experiencing the same feelings with those Brembo pads on the same brake system.
Now I'm almost at 30% remaining pad's material, so I'm searching online for info about better pads.
Once again, the results of my search bring me to the EBC YellowStuff.
I'm pretty sure I'll go for them!

Re: Polo 6C GTI brake pads
I find it very strange is that EBC only manufacture these brake pads with the wear warning

Ferodo and Brembo build brake pads with the wear sensor too.

Re: Polo 6C GTI brake pads
It could be that because EBC are not a very large scale manufacturer, just making all of certain pads with built in wear warning system is cheaper for them than manufacturing 2 different versions, as said already, all you need to do is to cut the cable off if your car does not have that warning system built into it.
