I remember reading somewhere (that I cannot now find) that with the factory system the EQ settings were adjusted to make the factory speakers sound better, and that if you changed the speakers you could get your dealer to flatten the EQs. I have an NZ 2018 Polo GTI and had had the speakers upgraded to Alpine with an Alpine amp and underseat Pioneer sub.
As the car is being serviced soon I was wondering about having the EQ flattened - anyone know anything about this?

Thanks but not this one - the one I read may not have been in this forum, I can't remember - but it said you needed your dealer to connect a computer and adjust the settings that way.
