Help
Icy morning, OH sys that the drivers door will not open.
Central locking is working. button pops up
Outside handle does nothing
Inside handle does nothing
I have managed to get the door trim removed near the lock and the cable appears to be intact and secured at the lock end
Is the 6N2 the same / similar as the 9N and the remedy is as in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy3KbKkAZZ0 , though it doesn't seem to be the same looking from the inside
Any suggestions, I suppose I always have the option of dismantling the passenger door to discover how it works
Options using a grinder are not to be welcomed
Unable to open drivers door from inside or outside

I'm in
It looks like the ice was the problem. The key would not turn in the lock, but as the button was popping up I thought it was unlocked. It wasn't. Warmer air and it opened with the key. Now where is that silicone lubrcant

Re: Unable to open drivers door from inside or outside
Icy morning again
The door did not unlock by remote again this morning.
The key did not initially turn the lock, but a couple of seconds rubbing a warm finger on the metal part and the door unlocked with the key.
When above freezing the door unlocks with the remote.
It seems as though there is not quite enough movement of the unlock mechanism when cold, but the fact it works perfectly when a little warmer warm seems to rule out an issue with the pneumatics.
Any suggestions ???
