Looks great Clive. Definitely the best colour choice... minus trying to keep it clean!

Re: Clive's new Polo
A white car is great for ease of cleaning as it’s a much more forgiving colour for hiding swirls if you don’t use a ‘safe’ washing technique, or if you entrust cleaning your car to one of the many £5 ‘scratch and swirl’ hand wash outfits. It’s also easier to colour match white than some other colours if you’re unfortunate enough to need paintwork repairs, although colour matching new paintwork to the original factory paint shouldn’t be such an issue these days with many good body shops using modern spectrophotometer paint matching technology.
My next car will almost certainly be a white one.

That is true!
Should have said it shows dirt a lot more but does come up nice.

Nice car in white, and like silver, easier to keep clean - a quick wipe and you're good to go . Good to have something to look fowarrd to and then enjoy in these trying times ....

Re: Clive's new Polo
First modification, new number plates stuck on with double-sided tape (I hate them attached with screws), and the front one cut down by approximately 15mm to fit properly in the bumper recess.

Where did you source the double sided tape from?POLO Clive wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 11:22 am First modification, new number plates stuck on with double-sided tape (I hate them attached with screws), and the front one cut down by approximately 15mm to fit properly in the bumper recess.
