140hp and 200lbft is indeed a decent tune.

Yep, just hoping the little 1.2 engine doesn't blow up whenever I floor it lol

Is it just a tune? Or did you do something else as well?

Wow very nice! I’m guessing this is the 110 bhp 1.2? I have one too and will do a remap in the future

Blimey Lebjos  that is some increase in Torque in particular. Ive got the 1.8 GTI and this has just 37lbs/ft more.

Have you or do you plan to do anything to uprate the brakes and clutch ? Standard brakes on the GTI are OK but nothing more than that, and if I do remap mine, I'll certainly be uprating the clutch and more than likely the brakes

Nope no plans to do anything. Brakes seem to have more than enough stopping power, and clutch doesn't slip. I guess I'll just replace parts as and when they break.

This was my custom engine tuning, I requested it this way:

Image

- One of the best improvements I made to my 6R.

After 1 year with it (11000km), I don't know how I could live without it. :)
From a standard car to a funny car.

In extreme conditions  , it would be necessary to keep the brakes in perfect condition. No improvements are needed on my little disc brakes (6R 90HP), however and as iichel and others have commented on many occasions the brakes must remain in perfect condition (new brake fluid, perfect bleeding, new OEM discs and pads, etc.).
