You'll need to swap the headlights for a pair of RHD ones.
I'm not sure what the best way to proceed is, perhaps selling the car in mainland europe and buying a proper RHD car is the best way to go?
Hi iichel!
Yeah, that was my first thought - but there's an item inside the Owners Manual that says "on cars where Travel mode is not available (only for cars with Xenon), the headlight would need to be covered with a sticker or going into an specialized shop to modify the headlight" (paragraph under "Lights & Visibility"). And I had a look...there's a few white knobs on the headlight that I think could be to adjust the pattern from left/right (as up/down is done by the electric motor) - would that make any sense?
As amer6R said, there's some stickers yes... but that's only allowed for a small period of time (like holidays) but not valid when registering the car - it'll fail the NCT check here in Ireland (MOT in Uk or ITV in Spain). Also, had a look at the ETKA online, and I'm unable to differenciate between LHD and RHD headlights. There's a few part numbers (may need to check mine first

) but really...no difference or I can't find it. Checked some Polo's around my neiborghood as well and I can't trully find a difference.
And no, selling the car in Spain is a no-no. The cost of sending the car back and me flying home is the same price as a new pair of headlights, and call me silly but I'm very attached to this blue little thing...it's not going anywhere

. It was the 2nd car in Spain to have the BlueGT IC plus GTi steering wheel thanks to Ciclo back in 2013, we started the Xenon conversion but a problem with the BCM put the project on hold...and I finally gave up. I still have Ciclo's old sport springs mounted...so nope, not selling
Thanks for the entries guys, really appreciate it.
