What is "G13 PLUS+" Coolant???

My tank says G13 as well. Took delivery of car in May 2019.

Jan 2019 Polo says G13 on the tank, the users manual relevant page is hopefully attached. Manual is Edition 11.2017!!

My owner's manual which say G12 evo cooolant is Edition 07.2019:

Maybe they updated the owner's manual, but haven't update the expansion tank's label at that time...

But who knows what coolant is filled into my car at the factory....
It could be G13, but it can also be G12 evo...

To be safe, I will do it myself and flush the system with distilled water a few times before I put the new coolant into my car.

What coolant will you use? or will you ask your dealer as there is certainly a lot of confusion, my 2017 users edition seems t up to date??. in that it recommends G13.

The local dealer in South Africa give me this G13 PLUS+ coolant, which I never heard of.
But they did mention I must flush my coolant system before adding this into my car...

Remember that the handbooks will be used up in sequence typically by the supplying VW dealership and not delivered from VW as part of the car. So many cars will be handed over to their first owners with some superseded service items mentioned in them.
Similarly and maybe also unfortunately, the feeding of parts into the assembly line might be done in a similar manner so any change over in coolant might not be reflected by the change in marking on the reservoir, though the reservoir part number will change slightly to reflect that change.
Finally as the intention will be to improve the coolant additive while making it backwards compatible, right now that means compatible with the past 2 or 3 versions only, there is never any intention to re-issue new handbooks for cars that have been sold, as a matter of course, so when you go in to your VW dealership and ask for a legacy version of coolant additive, you will normally be sold the latest version - that will be okay.

If I were you, if that is what has been said to you by your VW dealership, I'd be seeking out some aftermarket G12Plus Plus or G13 equivalent coolant additive and that would save you worrying about mixing that new version of coolant additive into your coolant.
