USB Sockets
I have no reason to install the second USB socket in the front storage compartment.
My priority will be to facilitate access to this second USB socket for the passenger, but also accessible to the driver.

2nd USB
I have chosen the location for the second USB considering which panel was the cheapest to make the hole.
The glove compartment was totally discarded, there is no clear place for its location.
and the two rear USB sockets for charging.

Golf 7.5 IC with Color Display and Blue Needles installed!
Bought on eBay. (I also bought the blue needles on eBay from the same seller, airbone-x, that I bought my first 6R BlueGT IC from a long time ago)
Kms correction. (technohead: requires a special tool, devised by madwarlock, to correct Kms to current)
Blue needles installed. (technohands: skills and good tools are required to solder the LEDs, madwarlock has them)

Really nice, I prefer this look better compared to all digital one. The all digital one worth only for the map view, but still is lucking. The map view from an Audi from 2018 car looks way better to what VW is offering in 2020 cars. I think Audi have greater resolution screens and satellite view vs map view on VW.
If you keep this IC for long time, maybe worth to modify the eeprom to show the actual coolant temperature (if vw is using the same scaling system as they do in 6R IC)

Re: ciclo. Wife's Golf MK7.5 Ready2Go 1.0 TSI 6MT 200Nm/l 115HP
Hey exantas, in the real world this IC looks much better than in the pictures. Worth? Yes, as soon as you sit down to drive you realize that you enter a new atmosphere simply because the needles are blue. It makes great sense of all the blue lines on the display and the infotainment system.
If anyone thinks of doing it, I recommend they get in touch with madwarlock, his great skills makes it very difficult to distinguish the soldering of an original LED with the solders he does, even with a magnifying glass. Also for other reasons ... his works are awesome!
Audi is Audi, nothing more to say ... totally agree with you.
I know exactly what you mean by displaying the real temperature of the coolant and I appreciate your recommendation, I have even read magnificent dissertations about it in various forums, all of them with their good and certain reasons, but I have got used to seeing 90ºC, which it offers me a lot of reliability, and also to visualize the engine oil temperature in the menus (IC and 5F) to verify the temperature changes in the engine depending on the required performance and the driving conditions.
Some time ago I was meditating on your recommendation for my 6R, but I prefer the needle at 90ºC, I even consider it essential, it gives me confidence.
That is, and reflecting slightly, it's not a Golf R with 400 HP engine tuning and I prefer the needle to permanently point to 90°C on my wife's Golf ... so that it only moves in the event of a true engine problem.
I really appreciate your comments.

- Refer to erWin to remove the seats and covers. Ultra easy, just like all the times I've done before.
- The following images are for an ultra basic passenger seat, without height adjustment and without any electrical comfort system. With seat occupied recognition and fastened seat belt detection.
- The process for the driver's seat is similar with the difference that it is height adjustable. Nothing to worry about, just flex a metal tab with a hook or small flat screwdriver to remove the plastic handle from the height adjustment lever.
- The added parts are the footwell lights (long ago) and heating elements (now).
edit: Driver seat.
Passenger seat.
It is not necessary to cut the last two upholstery clips at the top of the backrest.
BGS 8872
By the left side the seat heating element wires and by the right side the backrest heating element wires, to join in the middle and continue with the rest of the original wiring. Perfect!

Re: ciclo. Wife's Golf MK7.5 Ready2Go 1.0 TSI 6MT 200Nm/l 115HP
Yesterday my VW dealer informed me that they had received our new VW T-Cross.
The seller, a lifelong friend, and 'in a particular way', had the deference to send me many photos of its arrival at the VW dealer. a great professional and a better person ...
I made a quick video to share the news with the family:
Original Video : https://www.youtube.com/embed/e70NYt3KO ... autoplay=1
The best feature of the T-Cross in this segment (size) is its ease of access to the interior, was the main reason to buy it.
Fully equipped not to touch in 4 years ... the color was chosen to experience new sensations ...
ciclo's family car for daily use.

Thank you very much to both, my dear friends!
We're thinking of naming it, and everything points to naming it 'the Dutch' ... in Spanish of course, which is something like ... 'el Holandes' (from Holland) ... mainly by the colour.
The day of delivery the VCDS will eat it whole (Autoscan, Adpmaps, etc), to have the original logs of the whole car, ...with the function of reading the whole car it is now easier...

Enjoy the new car ciclo. It's an interesting colour for an interesting looking car. You are going to test first hand the new steering wheel also
Would an auto scan affect somehow the car warranty or something? Does VW would be able to tell if the car has been scanned with the VCDS?

Thank you very much exantas!
We have assumed that it is a good color so as not to worry excessively about its exterior cleaning, once every two weeks with water pressure jets or depending on the weather conditions, ... because it will be used by several members of the family and you already know who will have to worry about said cleaning ...
Yes, it is possible to know all the times that a VW Group car has been scanned/monitoring by the OBD2 port. With VAS, VCDS, etc. In no case does this circumstance affect the car warrantee.
Nowadays, any car repair shop, MOT (ITV, TUV, etc), pertinent authorities, or even the owner must be able to access the vehicle information without any contractual restriction of the warrantee. In fact, VOLKSWAGEN AG, and through the erWin portal, offers its servers for car repair (and more ...) to private owners.
Not loving VW is sometimes hard.
My motto about the warrantee is not to use it, it is the last option for me, only for extreme problems... hmm... well, each one personally has their own concept about what is an extreme problem for him...
