Re: 2021 new Polo rear end
That’s the first image I’ve seen of the Polo’s updated rear end, which brings it into line with the mk8 Golf (new VW emblem, and same font / positioning as that used on the Golf for the ‘Polo’ badge). A recent article in PoloDriver.com outlined the full range of the 2021 model year changes for the Polo range - outlined in the post at the link below which also includes a link to the article in PoloDriver.com

No surprise, the new emblem is on the front but looks likes the sports steering wheel gets an update from this image

Re: 2021 new Polo rear end
Not keen on the steering wheel in the performance models of the mk8 Golf. Here’s the GTI’s steering wheel in the picture below. If you look at the combination of the instrument dials and the steering wheel, can you see a clown’s face? (instrument dials = the eyes, VW emblem = the nose, bottom steering wheel spoke = the smiley mouth);
And here’s the real clown’s face for comparison.
On a serious note, I don’t like the ‘single button’ touch pads on the horizontal steering wheel spokes on the mk8 performance Golfs. The non performance models do get proper buttons on the steering wheel though.

Looks like they only changed the airbag to accommodate the new logo.brainbow wrote: Sat Sep 12, 2020 11:59 pm No surprise, the new emblem is on the front but looks likes the sports steering wheel gets an update from this image

Haven't been able to unsee that clown face on the new Golf. Interior is worse than the exterior.
I know it's really nit picking as well, but I'm sure the steering wheel has the old GTI logo on it. Not a fan of the new logo but why use a two different GTI fonts through the car?

If I purchase another Polo/GTI the badge at the rear will be deleted for sure.
