Hi, I’ve recently installed a Volkswagen discover MIB2 system into my 2012 Polo. Replacing the standard RCD310 radio. I am having trouble getting the data port on the back of the unit to work. I have bought an original usb data port and lead that goes from the back of the headunit and comes out of what was a blank piece of plastic next to the aux port. I was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems getting the data transfer to work, as the headunit has Apple carplay but needs an iPhone to be plugged in via the data port. Any ideas?
