Very easy and very effective.
The headlights as close to the wall as possible.
Mark the center of the light beams of each headlights.
Move back 10 m completely perpendicular to the wall.
Correct the light beams as indicated in the previous image. (green arrows)
A laser meter will help you with those 10m.
The patterns as indicated here viewtopic.php?p=580720#p580720

I love you're cable-work, it's super tidy!
Could you share some light on how you've connected together all the can-extended cables? (ACC, A5, Blind spot, etc) I've got mess on my car as one extender is donnected to another one

Welcome piotrekp,
I did it with crimped insulated splices, a clean and effective method, similar to how the original harnesses are made. I cannot show you images because once I verified the correct operation of the units, everything was taped with cloth tape.
I always do multimeter checks and my extensive experience with crimp methods does the rest.

My way.

Some comments about driver assist systems that I installed (A5 camera - R242):
After a medium-distance trip on all kinds of roads ...
Dynamic Light Assist ... I really like it, although I'm still trying different codings to try and find the best coding for my wife's golf (in the 4B module).
Lane Assist ... hmm ... it's OK, but I'm not enthusiastic at all.
It helps to drive... although I suppose it is to help the intellectually disabled who are easily distracted while driving.
I recommend deactivate this assistant in case 'you like to drive'. Never trust this system, 90 percent get it right, but it's not 100%.
Dynamic Road Sign Display ... Excellent!!! with the fusion mode, it perfectly identifies the speed of the road, especially temporary road speed limits due to road works or other road conditions.

Golf 7.5 Protective covers for the rear axle (torsion axle).
... and perhaps a slight aerodynamic improvement that will logically affect the consumption of the vehicle (0.001 l/km ... ).
When I removed the rear bumper to install the sensors for the PLA 3.0 system and the radars BSD - RTA, I realized that unlike the POLO 6R the entire rear area was full of dust, the funny thing is that we never drove the Golf on unpaved roads / dusty roads.
Without a doubt, the presence of dust even in the most hidden places is due to the turbulences generated by the various parts that make up the lower rear area, ... rear axle, shock absorbers and hollow areas that in all probability do not allow a linear air flow.
Some images (from when I installed the RDKS/TPMS valves/sensors):
Parts to install:
Info https://www.drive2.ru/l/576353276115551616/
Consult ETKA for plastic rivets and screws.
As you can see in the previous images, the two small parts already exist in our Golf from the factory.
These parts was a present from Slavik...
I don't know if this retrofit will provide any benefit to our Golf because I will not do further checks on the dust in the rear area, but at least I will protect the level sender area.
I think for 15 euros it's worth it.
Maybe I'll post photos once I've installed them (waiting for some rivets to arrive).

Golf 7.5 Underbody trim + Protective covers for the rear axle. Installation.
Please allow me a brief introduction of thanks:
As part of these pieces was a gift from Slavik, my obligation is to install them in the best possible way.
My appreciation and admiration for Slavik and the things he does in his cars is on a higher level.
Flow with me ...
---
-
edit ... the next two images are after this installation because the 'Clips' were received later.
-
---
---
- After high speed tests and checking that everything is still where it should , I do not know if there is less noise, the consumption has improved because the air flows better, or if I will achieve less dust in the interior of rear bumper ...
My first impressions are that there is an appreciable improvement in all these aspects ...
It has been a good Sunday...

Golf 7.5 Activating the SAFELOCK warning.
BCM
SA 31347
ENG141651-ENG141996-ZV allgemein-ZV_ohne_Safe_Funktion,installed ,7 ... to not installed
My wife's Golf does not have the SAFE locks but as you know it has an anti-theft alarm with motion monitoring sensors and the tilt sensor.
I think this SAFELOCK warning could be useful if the vehicle is being transported.

If the washer fluid level sensor is not installed from factory and we activate it in the BCM ...
BCM
SA 31347
ENG141645-MAS00212-HW_Verbau-Insufficient washer fluid,not installed ,8 ... to installed
... you get the following warning.
So, I'm going to install the washer fluid level sensor in the current 3L reservoir, or a 5L reservoir with sensor included.

Golf 7.5 Installation of the washer fluid level sensor G33. Preliminary studies.
I found 3 different 3 liter washer fluid reservoirs with the same part number, I assume they will have different PR codes, but they are not available from ETKA online (ifinterface).
The one installed in my wife's Golf is the one without hole.
I have read that the hole for the sensor has a diameter of 26 mm, but in case I install the level sensor in the 3L reservoir I will do tests about the diameter to be drilled.
(waiting for sensor, wiring and seal from Ali)
Some pictures of the 3L reservoir:
The following image was taken from youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5dJP66yqec (thanks)
In case of installing a new 5L reservoir, these are the necessary parts:
- The stopper/plug and seal replace the pump for vehicles with headlight wash system.
- Main pump seal.
- Pipe and adapters to lengthen the ones that are installed.
Wires.
The connection is quite simple, one wire -1- to earth (near the reservoir) and the other wire -2- to the BCM T46b/28 (MQS terminal).
I should have done this installation when I installed the 8IU LED headlights.
It is true that I thought about it at the time, but since it is a very simple installation, will serve me as a hobby/project for the summer season.

Re: ciclo. Wife's Golf MK7.5 Ready2Go 1.0 TSI 6MT 200Nm/l 115HP
I'm a bit surprised that the golf doesn't have independent rear suspension but a torsion beam. It works allright, but still
Great job once again and thanks for the nice write-up

Re: ciclo. Wife's Golf MK7.5 Ready2Go 1.0 TSI 6MT 200Nm/l 115HP
Thanks Michel.
The multilink rear axle is installed in Golf with higher power engines (I think from 130 HP or so), the torsion rear axle works great on VW's MQB platform, not for twisty circuits logically, but the suspension assembly does an excellent job. Very, very comfortable and very safe at 'medium' speeds.
It is more than enough for the Golf with this power, I live happily with this rear torsion axle on my wife's Golf, and especially with the 15" wheels and 195 tires, I guess I'm getting older.
Also ... the torsion rear axle is kinder when it comes to the way the rear tires wear out.

Fernando, time to DDC retrofit
