Hi
The passenger door intermittently does not lock with central locking even though I can hear the motor solenoid.
Is there something that needs lubricating or adjusting
Any suggestions much appreciated
Thank you

Re: Passenger front door lock 9N
The passenger door lock is intermittent.
The only clue I have is that when I look the car from the drivers side I can hear the drivers motor whirring sound.
I am presuming the drivers door lock governs the passenger door side? If so, where do I need to look?
Thanks for any advice
Cheers
Andrew

Do you have remote central locking or are you stuck with having to put the key in the door lock ?
Either way the fault most likely is the passenger side door catch mechanism (it’s all integrated) it’s a known VW fault across the range.
