hello everyone,
what's the best website for replica OEM wheels, or just best website for relatively cheap good aftermarket wheels.
thanks!

Just got back from getting my wheels checked lol front ones are buckled from all the pot holes , luckily i have the original alloys which i got refurbed in the loft so im putting them back on , the aftermarket alloys will be going in the loft now till i can get two of them fixed ,
I think your better off sticking with the wheels you have on your car for now tbh aftermarket wheels aint that great , & you will pay through the nose for forged alloys , depending on what your roads are like where you live profile tyres arbt friendly they are just for looks in my opinion lol i might just go back up to 215/45/17s which whats came originally on the car from the showroom at vw , even the 45 isnt that good with the uk roads tbh . Its a costly business all round i think in the end .

Which aftermarket alloys did you have and what size were the alloys and tyres? The 6c polo GTI had 215/40 R17 tyres from the factory, not 215/45 R17’s - see below;

That pic is the original alloy& tyre.

The aftermarket alloys i got from UK RIMS & are an exact replica of the original alloys ,17” & they came with 215/40/17 tyres , but the only real difference was the stud holes seem a tiny bit smaller than the original bolt holes as the stud caps wouldnt fit in to sit on the studs which was odd .

Well the roads in my area are in the process of all being refurbished but they are still in pretty poor shape. Yeah I just don’t want to fork out loads of money on something if it’s not going to last long. I’ll be honest it’s totally for looks that I want new ones as the current ones are just way too small. How long did you have your ones before they buckled?

Ok great I’ll have a look at those. Audi wheels are interchangeable with vw ones right? Like they also fit well?

I do love a sports car with a nice stance (we all do) haha but in hind sight i sortov wish i hadnt gone for one as our roads are absolutely s**t tbh ,there are some good roads but i dont seem to be on them lol , true some of the roads around my area are being repaired but not as quick as my bank account for tracking/balancing & tyres etc costs,
But i have that sort of car now so i guess ill have to put up with it :cry: ,
I dont drive her like a mad man at all either . Anyway its your car & your idea of what you want to do to it tbh
Just enjoy her
