Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
https://www.gerritspeek.nl/vag-com_dtc-16518.htmlMogelijke oorzaken:
Kortsluiting in de referentiespanning van de lambda-sensor
Lambda-sensor vervuild of defect
It's not really unsafe to drive with, but you'll probably miss a few horses and use some more fuel in the process.

Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
Seems that the heater coil inside of lambda sensor is kaput.
What brand of lambda sensors dis you put on your car?

Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
Bank 1 sensor 1 is the sensor upstream of the catalytic converter. Bank 1 sensor 2 is the one downstream of the catalytic converter.

Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
At that price 6 months is good going ,only use OEM or OEM makers sensors, others work ok for a limited time only

Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
NTK is the brand name for NGK sensors and tends to be what VW Group fit at engine plants and sell as spares.
Maybe things have changed over the past 10>15 years, but when I checked back then, I found that buying locally from a VW dealership was very close in price to buying an NTK same part online and getting it delivered.

Re: Still lambda issue after new catalytic converter
Thats a really useful information.
With sensors, buy cheap pay it twice.
