Was looking around for front parking sensors and module for it. Compared three "ASPIRING" 6R's namely ciclo, iichel & patil.

Long shot -- I would try this but is this 5Q0 919 294 A -- most suitable? or any other suffix like "E", "K" or any other are advised?

And can rear parking sensor and read parking harness can be used for front with modifications ie altering length?

I have not modified the first page of my 6R thread, neither the whole thread nor my wife's golf thread.

I do not know who has modified them, nor have I received any kind of explanation.
I don't have any kind of intention to ask or fight about it, I don't have time for these things,
I don't want to receive any kind of explanation either. Life is as it comes...

Maybe now everyone will start to understand why I'm upset.

Until these external modifications are magically fixed (as they came) and ideal conditions are created for me 💎😁, I don't think my participation in the forum will be like before...
Sorry. 🙏

Grab Handles

After waiting for a lot of time -- finally received Grab Handles with dampers yesterday.
After looking at empty slot and holes for some time fitted them in few seconds.
So no photos of headliner without them.

Chrome Cleaning

After cleaning car, I have not been able to get rid of water marks. Though water used is soft. The sports were prominent on all 4 windows glass, Driver side Outside Rear View Mirror, Rear VW Emblem and Front grill chrome bits.

Used a bowl full of water to dip this piece of 1500 grit sandpaper
Sanding Paper

Gentle sand it. Also made a fold and use nails to get to corners.

Though it did not turn out to be perfect. But definitely a way forward to put efforts and few hours to get it like mirror.

Passenger Door Gap :(

After years of abuse (not so gently closing) to passenger side door, it succumbed and outcome was gap. As most of you know kind of care I take of my McQueen. Have had a sleepless night and may be few more days till I fix it :(

Thought this may look like door is not properly closed/locked, actually it is locked.

As soon as I noticed it - checked gap between striker/locking metal square shaped part and body. It was different. Less on door with gap as compared to driver side (which is flush). So got hold of necessary head and to my surprise striker bolt/screw was already loose
Tried to move and hammered with mallet (very gently) and tighten but did not get door locked flush. So checked the arms and bolts around hinges if they had loosen or anything but could not figure it out. So parked it such a way that passenger side of vehicle is not visible to me :|

Any and all suggestions are welcome. Otherwise would try to get an appointment tomorrow morning so fingers crossed.

It is been raining for some time and quite a few path holes and water around. Though driving slow and safely.
Just came back from a rainy and water logged roads and ESP light lit.
Tried few kilometer drive on empty roads if ESP disappears as suggested in VW Connect Go App.

It did not but by the time I reached home Engine Check light lit joined in party.

I wouldnt recommend sanding the.chrome parts. They are plastic that is electro-coated. If youn sand down to much you will expose a copper layer.
Just use fine polish ( that is used for paint).

1500p is way too rough, use 3000p ifnyou plan to sand down.
If you looking for nice value to money paste, the 3M green cap is good all around paste.

Rat Attack

Rat or Rats have successfully eaten wires from 3 connector.
Out of 2 MAP sensor connector 1 is which has 2 wires have disappeared.
Coolant Pump connector with 4 wires have disappeared.

Image

Third one is behind battery and 1 wire has disappeared -- Left fog lamp not working.

Image

It also liked and ate part of battery protection cover.

Image

Cut wires so connectors can be removed and wires replaced.

Image

Could fix MAP sensor connector by pulling out wires and replacing it and connecting to original harness.

Wire state before fixing

Wire state after fixing - 1

Wire state after fixing - 2

Second one -- Even after a lot of fight -- could not pull out any of wires.

Image

This is how it looks from connector opening side

Image

Third one -- connected back. (Till it was not connected -- car did not start)

Thanks to @iichel -- for replying, sharing images and part numbers.

Connector is available nationally after 7 days.
Repair wire ie repair wire number is available after 16 days. Image is not displayed.
Crimps not available.
Rubber grommets are not available.

Option 1
-- Trim connector.
-- Solder wires and we are good for running.
-- But crimps, connector and wires would be useless for future changes ie restoring.

Option 2
-- Buy connector shell and once it is delivered. Assuming I am able to break apart existing connector without damaging wires and crimps -- use it.
-- Till then car would be driven around but max to pick up drop duties in 5 km radius

Option 3
-- Long wait till entire set is shipped internationally.

Horrendous scene :|

I can help you out with wires/terminals/ rubber seals .. if you need any. Please let me know. Or you can drop in near by Service centre.

Sorry to see this in an otherwise neatly maintained car.

Damages can be easily fixed though.

Update --
Visited VW service station
Coupler -- not available
Wires -- not available
terminals/crimps -- available at around 4 Euros each
Gasket -- not available

None would be sold over counter.
Need to get car to service center.

So cut the part of coupler. And got wires soldered.

Image

There are two white wires (seen by naked eyes) so need to check if is white with some color and join accordingly.
