Oh well. For next time you won't make this mistake. At least your car drives again.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
Good evening my friends. The year seems to be ending with good news regarding the BCM change.
This afternoon the change was made and this time it was successful.
The new BCM has code 6C0937090E
Here is a new scan:
I made some adaptations myself, but some issues remain.
One small thing is that the brake pad wear indicator is permanently active. I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Can someone help me with the change to long coding?
And the second it the MFSW, i have to search for it, i am not remember a lot from the installation of it.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check your BCM coding for these issues? There are a lot of differences.
MFSW: is the MFSW installed? Wires connected to slip ring? LIN wire to BCM and power cable to i.e. fuse box?

I have to check the wiring, ιt's been a while since I installed it.
Yes the old and the new coding have a lot of differences. I'll have to find out what those differences are meaning.
The first thing i want to do is to deactive the warning light for the brake pads, i don't like seeing the warning triangle all the time.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
But why is the coding so different? Were the codings and adaptations of your old bcm saved and transferred to the new BCM? If so, how was it then? If not, why not?

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
The BCM with code 6C0937090E is a BCM that never installed from the factory to any Polo 6C. Maybe during the change, the copying of the coding was not done correctly for this reason.
Today, I putted the coding from the previous BCM and now all the warning lights gone. That's a good start.
So i have to do the MFSW install from the begining, in fact i will check the wiring and change the wiring for the Horn plate. I have a "hybrid" wiring right now for the Horn plate.
I have a MFSW and i did the wiring for that, but i kept the old wire for the Horn Plate only.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
the horn wire is fine, you can use vcds to code it via LIN (MFSW) or via direct wire to BCM.
i would recommend to also restore all adaptations from the old bcm to the new bcm, they are important and even more since the MQB platform was introduced.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
Happy new year to all of you.
At last, the MFSW is working
I had to push the MF connector more to click to its position.
I made the coding and it seems to work fine. Of course i don't have Cruise control, it is something that is useless for the use that is made in this car.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
Your advice is excellent, i have to do this. For example, the cornering fog lights, don't work. The luggage lock doesn't unlock when i stop the car and pull out the key.
The problem is i don't have the old adaptations, and it seems that there are a lot of them. How can i do that?
How can i extract the adaptations from the old BCM ?

It would have been nice if you did it before the replacement. perhaps you can install it back in your car, but I think CP will activate, unless you disconnect cluster, radio etc.

Re: Giannis20vt's Polo 6c 1.0MPI
You could but that's not very effective. If you have VCDS, go to applications, controller adaptation map, enter 09 and SA 31347, check adaptations and make CSV.
You can very easily restore old adaptations to the new BCM with the restore function in the same window.
Disconnect cluster and radio to avoid CP errors.
