Does anyone know which 7 speed box is in the new gti as iv just ordered one but would like to know if its worth tuning or not as i previously had the pre fast lift 2019 gti with the dq250 and had it apr mapped running 247bhp and 510nm on the dyno and the dsg bearings failed had to pay 1500 to have it repaired (not sure if it was due to the map but im thinking it was) I'm contemplating if the new gti is worth messing with once the warranty runs out or if to just part ex it at the end of the finance and try and get into something with more power stock
Thanks guys

Thank you bro

My 2 cents : Maybe tell your mapper to put less torque or limit it at least for the 1st-3rd gear and ofc the dsg need to be tuned for what you ask ... It's pointless to burn or to kill your current or next dsg unit xD
And if you really like to do launch control, consider upgrading the dogbone, cause your engine can jump from the engine bay

Max torque on the dq250 is 400nm so looks like you blew it with the torque heavy map.
