A week ago I took the car out for a quick drive, parked up and when I went to turn it on the fuel pump didn’t prime so wouldn’t start, but the engine cranked.
Took it to a garage to run diagnostics but they didn’t come back with any fault codes. Checked it myself with OBD11 VAG last night and these are the codes I got:
Brakes - 01214, 01317
Gateway - 01309, 01317, 01321
Dashboard - 65535
A/C - 65535
Central electrics - 01309, 01317, 01321
Engine - U015500, P157000, U014000, U000200
The fuel pump primes intermittently, seems like it’s an issue with the ECU or at least the wiring due to the codes I got, does anyone have any ideas of what to check other than fuses for the ecu and fuel pump? Will check the relays but not sure how to get to them or which ones I should check for the fuel pump and ECU.
Battery is about 6 months old running 14.6v at idle so no issue with the battery itself.
I have a multimeter so I can test connections but any help would be really appreciated before I take it into a garage!
