Hi, so i was having really bad mpg fuel issues (2000, GTi, ARC eng), trying to track a problem has been tricky as I also had intermittent/no OBD connection to ECU, checked all the wiring and all good. Then, both of the headlight leveling motors started ranging wildly and constantly. I never noticed this before but something may have been on its way out, disconnected the auto leveling sensor on the rear axle and all ECU/OBD connections came back and mpg wet back to normal. Headlight aim is now wrong! I am trying to source a new sensor (part No-6N0907503) but they are like like hens teeth or stupid money.
Does anyone know of or have any reasonable priced second hand working ones?
My other option is to fit a manual adjust on the dash but this is not strictly 'legal' with the xenon headlights?
We have been made aware that users have been having difficulty signing up, and notification emails haven't been received. This has now been resolved and there should be no problems for anyone going forward. Our apologies - last minute firewall upgrade with a missing rule!
