SPAM Email from VWFS

Post by MikeDO »

I'm assuming the Email that I got this morning supposedly from VW Financial Services, is SPAM?

Titled:
Be prepared to use your FS.ID also in the future etc. etc.

Starting to look like this Email is legit. Because if you try to logon to the VW Financial Services WEB site, it prompts you to accept the changes mentioned in this Email.

Hard to know these days what's genuine and what is not!

It's daft in a way for genuine companies to send out Emails like this (that require you to click a link inbedded in the Email). As who in their right mind would do this.

I of course went direct to their web site and logged in that way.

I too received a similar email and tried the usual log in rather than the link. only to find that my password is not recognised and had to renew it.. the blurb tells you may have to re do it if you haven't logged in for some time.. Then after all of that i find an error on the pages.. apparently i still have a service left on my extinct service agreement and no mention of the extended warranty i have.

message to try again later
