Just changed the timing chain on CBZB using the kit, also oil pump sprocket and chain.
Anyone know the procedure using VCDS for timing chain adaption?
Thanks

Re: The mysteries of part numbers? CBZB Timing chains??
New here. About to change the timing chain on our 2010 1.2TSI CZCB Polo. The timing chain and crankshaft pulley are clear for me. Locator tools for the crankshaft and camshaft too.
Couple of questions remain;
Was the chain set for the oil pump also updated? (Since the crankshaft pulley will be replaced). Do you change both sets? If so, what part number is that kit?
What tools are used for this change? I saw some custom tool to press on the crackshaft pulley. Regular puller (3 legs) to get the old one off?
Replace timing chain covers also to the latest revision?
Is VCDS work neccesary when the timing chain is replaced?
