FRONT CRASH BAR DIMENSIONS
I have recently bought a 2004 polo N9 with front end damage.The bumper, slam panel and crash bar all need replacing.I have just bought replacements and all is ok apart from the fact that the replacement crash bar seems about 25mm too short. There was quite significant bending of the crash bar attachment struts and I have tried to straighten them out best possible but I'm wondering if all the crash bars have the same dimensions as I think the replacement bar might have come off a different model. It had an extra lug on each side that I have ground off.
