What did you and your Polo do today?

Well today I sold our polo r line (wife’s car) as trade in against a golf mk 8.5. So in a months time I won’t own a polo in the house for the first time in 11 years and will probably log off this forum for the last time. Lovely group of people here who have been very helpful over the years, particularly SRGTD. Just need to find a new golf forum.

Thanks for the kind words; happy to help if and when I can. I’ve enjoyed our discussions and conversations.

As for Golf forums; the ones I’m a member on are golfgtiforum.co.uk which is mainly GTI and other performance Golf’s, golfmk8.com where the membership is mainly USA/Canadian. There’s also vwroc.com which is predominantly Golf R owners. I’m sure there are others too.

Strictly speaking, not what I did to my Polo as I sold it a month ago, but today I started cleaning up the second set alloys, ready to sell them.

I’ll be sad to sell them but they don’t fit my current car so putting them up for sale on the forum. So if anyone’s interested in a set of 18” non-diamond cut alloys in a highly durable powder coat finish and in very good condition complete with tyres (Michelin PS4), then keep an eye out as they’ll be up for sale in the next few days.

Here’s what they look like on a Polo GTI+, but they’ll fit any current shape Polo.
