error code 16687

Hi All

had a misfire with this code which pointed to no 3 cylinder moved coil pack to no 2 cyl and the code changed to 86 which is coil pack on no 2 cyl

so pointed to coil pack faulty

replaced no 2 coil pack all good

in scotland we have dingbro

HI All

code 16687 came back tonight but that has the coil pack from no 2 cylinder is it just by chance that no 3 coil pack has went or would a faulty spark plug cause this error on no 3 cyl


so tomorrow 2x coil packs and 3x new spark plugs and see the outcome

we went to euro car parts and bought 2x coil packs and new spark plugs and thought lets change them all
