Then you'd pretty much have a mk2 1.0, I believe (am I right in thinking that mk2 engines all had the same valve sizes etc?). Personally I think you'd be better off just having an entire 1.3 lump ;)

yeah mk2 1.0 have same heads as 1.3s so Im told. Even etka lists the HZ engine as having 50bhp!

putting a mk2 engine in a mk3 isnt too much of a problem but a mk3 in a mk2 is, as the mk3 engines have no provision for a mechanical fuel pump.
