You can change the sidelight on the drivers side without removing the bumper. Just unscrew the back of the lamp and change the bulb. Its the passenger side behind the battery that is too difficult.

Thanks mate !!!!!! I will need to double check I am sure its the drivers side thats away, I have been trying to get it sorted for that long I have forgotten which one it is, As for the drivers side could the battery be removed to replace it then put it back in, I know of someone with a Civic Type R and they are the same battery needs to come out to get into lights. Thanks for all your help :D

yes, you can remove the battery, but its about equal hastle to removing the bumper. On top of which, your ECU will forget all about your engine, so it will drive like a bag of terd for a few miles.

I prefer to take the bumper off, once you have done it, you won't even think twice about it.

thanks again wasnt sure how much hassle removing the battery would be, going to wait till my days off and we will try taking bumper off, with everyones guide of how to do it hopefully should be able to do it!! :)
