Re: The GTI! - Alex's Progress Thread - Sorted :)
Yeh thats the sort of drop im after,i won't just buy springs i'll buy a kit and if i really cannot find a kit ill have to get coilovers which i kinda don't want to buy.Been looking at a KW 40/40mm complete setup but im undecided as to whether it'll be enough and the only real way ill find out at the moment is to buy it and fit it lol.Need some pictures really of a simular wheel/suspension setup to mine.

UPDATE:
Fitted the rainsensor and mirror wiring properly as an OEM loom addition. Rain sensor works beautifully
Now just need the windscreen so it all looks pukka!

I've never heard of another gti in this country with ESP i thought that was only an option for models made abroad, thats rare as rocking horse s**t! Don't suppose you want an OEM double din vw mcd sat nav to add to your list of extras.........its fooooked though with a huge ink bleed in the display
im currently trying to source a new lcd screen for it, tough times!

It was an option, just a bloody expensive one!!
lol would be nice, but I think ill stick with my pioneer double din
A new screen hmm thats the b+w one isnt it? I may be able to get my hands on one. Got the specific model number to hand?

Nope. They have something called EDL which helps them keep the power on the ground, but its not fully assisted like TCS.
