Has anyone discussed with their dealers the years free insurance offer? All the stuff on VWs website says only available for cars registered before end of September, my dealer said they probably will extend it again, but can't guarantee it.

Seems a bit rubbish to miss out on an offer if we order before Sept but it doesn't get delivered til after the offer and if they don't renew it. Not a deal breaker but be very nice to save a couple hundred quid on insurance.

Apparently it also ended in June, but I got my car in July. I called them anyway and got the free insurance [emoji106]

I'm also expecting it at the dealer in a few weeks! Where about did you order from? I heard last Friday that it goes to Germany before being sorted and sent to the UK.
Sounds like I've been pretty lucky with the wait for mine, as I ordered the beginning of June....seems strange that there's such variances in waiting times.

I will put some photos up when it arrives anyways, I was hoping to get it in time to take to the VW festival this year but I think I might be a little too hopeful now .

That's correct, think my status on VW status changed mid week as well, so must of been built early that week. I ordered from Ashford, gave me a great price that I couldn't say no too! Pretty much all the packs on it etc.

Same here, I got a great deal really...I got mine through carwow and would really recommend it. My tracker still says in transit so guesssing it's not in the UK yet

Any one have the panaromic sunroof??

My car hasn't arrived yet,but decided to order the Panoramic Roof after seeing it on a couple of peoples car's on here.My car is pure white,so hopefully breaks up the whiteness of the car.

Yes I have the pano roof. I love it. Looks good and I use it too. You can open and close it using the key remote .

Were you driving into Penarth between 08:30 and 09:00 Friday morning? If not there's another black GTI in Cardiff!

Wasn't me, but I've also seen another black GTI in Asda, Cardiff Bay... Probably the same one.

Sport pack
Winter pack
Convince pack
Panoramic roof
Arm rest
It's the only one in Ireland apparently .. So I can't wait ... Didn't even get a test drive as there is none here , are they quick??????
