The BCM 7H0937090D is the predecessor to the 7E0 BCMs.
-The hardware is there, I mean the pins, but I don't know the architecture of the motherboard, I never had one of these 7H0...090'D' BCMs.
-The software structure appears to be the same as for the 7E0 BCMs.

FYI, the 7E0...090E file will work for all 7E0 BCMs.

IMP: Remember to make a read/backup of the Coding and Adaptations (VCDS), 'and' Parameters (VCP) before flashing (ODIS).

As incredible as it may seem, some clueless person always appears trying to insert the software for a BCM into an old Casio watch... and many worse things.

Sorry for being late to read/ reply to the interesting thread. With little personal experience, I say 7E0 firmware is not compatible with 7H0 BCM. ODIS-E returns error.

As we already mentioned, Vinayak will have to purchase a new BCM 7E0 (with B suffix at least) if he wants to see his new electric seats in the diagnosis.
