Not a very exciting update, just got back from protyre where I went to get a full geometry check....ended up coming away with a £215 bill for two pirellis upfront as they were very low...took them 2 & a half hours to fit the tyres & sort out geometry...apparently i'm down so low that they have to manually adjust it by taking the wheel on & off! :?

I actually had a look earlier and i'm nearly as far down as the gti was

Every car would have to have the wheels off to adjust them, mine does. That is pretty low though! 8). You got any more pics yet?

nah they werent bad at all tom.. they were very polite & didnt charge me for labour even though it took ten times longer than everyone else..my front tyres were pretty bald :S so it was either now or in the next few weeks for the MOT

They didnt rag it either thank god...and i did cover up my boost controller with masking tape just incase lol!!!

tim - pics will be up soon mate, spent an hour or so just before dark giving it a wash, and hoovered the inside after dark...now its getting wrapped up in its sleeping bag and a serious polish/clean tomorrow, will put pics up then

does anyone know if you can t-cut wheels?? there are some marks on the rims i cant get off & thought i might be worth a gentle rub?

Have you tried claying the wheels? That's less abrasive and normally works

just got it back from the garage: £638 That should be IT though until the engine comes out for new rods, valves pistons etc... pretty much spent a grand on it this month & still have an mot to do at some point over the next few weeks.

On the way back i was keeping my eyes peeled for something to bait...and what comes along? a brand new GTR....he wasnt up for a play unfortunately (probably still running the engine in)....fook me its gorgeous...i wonder how much a month it would cost on finance?

Camera is on charge so going to get a few vids later on today of it....sounds so ridiculously mean haha!
