Yeah its a shame, however i've got some more plans
Got a 6n2 GTI gear knob and gaitor on its way, plus i'm hoping to win this on ebay...

Oh, and if anyone spots any red colour concept seats for sale, throw them this way as after sitting in josh's (shmosh) i'm hooked. So comfy, and the appeal of heated leather is just sexual haha

Haven't been on here in a while, and what a transformation mate! Coilovers seriously change the appearance off it! Absolute minter!

Erm not too sure what you mean Tim, if you mean is it second hand then yes I got it off Jordan eff from here. Really nice chap, sent it out yesterday at 3:30 and came this morning! Good condition too, just needs a good leather soak as its a bit dry so i've done that. Got it looking black for the time being anyway, probably absorb the leather cleaner like a sponge though
Got to remove some of the dash tomorrow as i'm fixing the squeek, hence the second pic you can just about see the center console is out. Got round to removing a few more bolts but it's dark so will have to wait until tomorrow

Yeah its so much better than the mk4, actually feels stubbier so gears feel shorter. Wether that true I dunno but its a cool edition to the interior. Car needs front dipping slightly, we want the stance looking perfect

Yep it was. Got to dive deeper into the dash today to sort out this squeek, at first I thought i'd sorted it as a screw was loose which held the center console on, however this was not the case. Took the car round the block and its still there. I suspect its something to do with the heating system, unless anyone can diagnose what this part is (see pic below). Sorry for the crap pic! (you can see how I tempory fixed it, by sticking two wedges and a peice of folded card over to push that part upwards. That stopped the squeek

I know, I forgot to get pics of when I had that heater mech out and the other bits off
But yeah, what a p*ss take for one small screw which had worked itself loose over time. I guess it didn't help having a rough ride on coilovers though! In all faith though, its in good practice for the dash conversion as i'll know how to get the bits out quicker

Oh,
I'm getting Red colour concept seats this weekend
£250 for front and rear seats, heating loom, gear stick with gaitor (although its hideous!) and red leather handbrake cover. They need a very good clean and leather polish, and the drivers bolster is getting fixed as it has a very slight tear in the stiching but once they are sorted it should be sweet.
