After speaking with the dealer (Pulman Durham), they said it should be arriving in the next couple of days.
Due to what I want fitting, the Tracker etc, there aren't too many people qualified to install it and the ones who can are on holiday, I don't blame them, tbh!
So I'll probably get it at the end of the month/September.

Same, nothing!
So depending what extra's you want on Trev, you might get yours before me.

I think you may be the first forum member to take delivery of an ED25 GTI.
Hope collection and handover go well. Be sure to post up some pictures of your car on the forum.

I know it seems never ending when you're waiting for collection day! When the wife collects hers at 10am on Monday, it will be over a year since we placed the order!

Said goodbye to our Up! GTI a couple of weeks ago. And will be picking up this little grey chariot tomorrow (1st September) after a 390-day wait!

Ascot Grey with a few extras - panoramic sunroof, driver's assistance pack and a spare wheel. And we've named it 390 after the three hundred and ninety days we had to wait for it!

Very nice! Are you enjoying it, is it all you hoped it would be?

Having had a kings red normal gti Iβd be interested to see pics of the 25th edition. Hope youβre enjoying the new car.

Collected mine today, it's remarkably quieter than my non-GPF/OPF 18 Plate GTI. Going to kinda miss the subtle pops it made.
Although I'm hoping with time and some wearing in that changes. It seems to have a good bit more umph than previous though. Seems a bit "stiffer" and handles a lot better. More night time driving testing needed, the IQ Lights are really funky.
More pic's to follow with a trip up the moors at the weekend.

Lucky enough to pick my Edition 25 up last Friday. I just have a quick question and hoping someone else with one can help answer it. Is it normal not to see the gear number displayed when driving in D ?
I'm guessing it is normal and probably due to the engine power and 7 speed DSG gear box. I can see the gears in S mode e.g. it scrolls through S1, S2, S3 etc. and in M mode (M1, M2 etc.) which is obvious I know.
But when in 'Normal' drive mode the display just shows D. Not an issue and no biggy really but I thought I would ask as I did see a POV drive on YouTube where the Normal mode did show D1, D2 etc. when they briefly drove it in Normal. The POV was on a left hand drive and I have seen that in some regions the Polo GTi has a slightly different power and DSG spec, so that may be the reason it was showing.
As I said, it's not a big issue for me. I just wanted to make sure everything is working as it should be. Thanks in advance
(I've had a 17 plate Polo GTi and a 69 plate Polo GTi in the past and I've just changed from a 64 plate BlueGT)

Seems the mk8 Golf is the same - or at least it was back in 2021; see discussion topic at the link below;

@JAM35D - Our Ed25 is the same, there is no number displayed next to the D. In our previous 2019 Polo Gti, it did display a number.
