Many thanks for the info diskoboy, they seem a good alternative, but I think they are too long for mirror housings Polo 6R ...
Anyway, I have to decide between the lights of Passat CC (bought on aliexpress) or from Golf VII, for now I prefer lights Golf VII by the shape they have (I'll order the left side puddle light at the dealership for testing and take pictures).
What do you think? Which do you prefer?

There is an interesting read here from Briskoda where puddle lights have been fitted to a Fabia. It looks like a clean install too

Thanks jammydodger, I mentioned earlier here
...the problem is that the rearview mirror of Polo 6r not have that small cover and I prefer not to make a hole in that area because is part of the mirror assembly. My premise for this modification is to have replacement parts (at VW dealer) in case of damage or breakage of the parts used for it, as cheap as possible.

I think what we all really want to see is the retro fit of a sun roof

First I have to swap the engine and other parts, 1.2 TSI 90hp to 2.0 TSI 2XXhp... ...2 ...better 3
I had sunroof in other cars which is nice but not practical for a car with a small engine like mine, "deadweight" ... especially in a petrol car. With it, the temperature changes on the roof (over all in summer, over all at sun countries) are very noticeable and forces the Climatronic to work harder with a consequent increase in fuel consumption.
Anyway I do not recommend the cut of the metal structure of a car under any circumstances. IMO the sunroof should be an optional equipment installed in the factory when the car is new, always, never retrofitted.
Would be necessary to reinforce the metal structure if the sunroof is added later.
On the other hand I have to admit I love cars with sun roof.

They are similar but very different, all parts of both models of mirrors fit differently, so I think it's not possible a direct replacement.
Thanks for bursting that bubble
Oh well the puddle lights aren't as important as the autofold and integrated blinkers, which the Vento now get in India - so I guess those must be a direct swap.

Hello Ciclo,
First, you did a very good job to personally your car.
I have also install the mirror lights in my polo 6R.
I have used the door lights from the Audi A6 with the part numbers --> left side 4H0 947 133A and right side 4H0 947 134A
These ligths are in the door opener from the Audi A6.
For these lights is enough space in the mirror housing.
The brightness of the lamps is good, a little bit darker than the OEM mirror lights of EOS,GOLF.
Pics:
with kind regards
master991
PS.
Sorry for my english, I hope you understand what I mean.

Hello Ciclo,

I have also install the mirror lights on my car polo 6R.
I have used the door opener lights from the Audu A6 left side 4H0 947 133A and right side 4H0 947 134A.

The birghtness of these lights are enough.

I like sunroofs too, before buying my Polo I was looking to buy a Scirocco 2.0 GT, and then I really wanted one with the sunroof. Although the sunroof is quite disappointing, on the inside it isn't nearly as big as it looks from the outside, and on the Scirocco it doesn't even slide, just opens slightly in the rear edge. Unlike the sunroof on the Polo which slides back. I get a bit jealous if I park next to a Polo GTI with sunroof, but then again, the sunroof wouldn't fit the character of the WRC

Unfortunately the links to your pictures don't seem to work. I would like to see how you have done it. Have you drilled holes for the lights in the Polo handles?
Edit: I missed your other post. If I understand correctly you have installed the lights in the mirrors?

It is the best option.

Thank you very much for your comments about the mods I did on my r-line , and I fully understand your English (my English is still not very good too ...), do not worry about it, English people are very friendly in these language issues.
I greatly appreciate the information you provided about puddle lights on your Polo 6R side mirrors, so far I downloaded a picture because I have to wait 20 minutes to download the other ones. (according to the website)
Please, can you upload the images directly to the forum? Thanks master991

I thought the same when I first saw the sunroof of Scirocco, i guess this will have a technical explanation. I also assume that the owner of GTI will feel jealous to see your WRC parked next to his GTI. These things are inevitable.
