Just to add ..I got a vw branded sports bag as my trinket back in April when I got mine. Don't get too excited.

Thought it was about time to get a pic of my GTI up seeing as it's been here over a month and almost done 1,250 miles! Struggle to find anything wrong with it!Just the standard GTI with the option of white paint. Pic was taken at VAG Trackday at Castle Combe circuit back in August.
Forgot to mention that the latest VW Driver magazine devotes 8 pages to the GTI in the latest issue and gets a great write-up [emoji106]

Hardly surprising seeing as TopGear magazine did run after run at Bruntingthorpe against some things £7,000 more expensive and still beat them in 0-60 times!

Yes very happy with the red. Bit of nostalgia for me as it reminds me of my Mars Red mark 2 Golf Gti.

Been reading this topic for a while, thought it was about time I posted as my GTIs build week is scheduled for the week commencing tomorrow. Been a bit of a wait as I ordered it back in June, but obviously nowhere near the wait some of you have had to put up with!

I liked the red initially but was coming from a red car previously went with the blue silk to be different and because I really liked how it showcases the red GTI detailing. Didn't go crazy with the options, just added the Sports pack, Parking pack with rear view camera (found it annoying I had to get all that just for cruise control but I guess it can't hurt) and the Car-Net system.

loving the first few days and love it in the Blue Silk
also opted for app-connect, sport pack, climate control, convenience pack and panoramic roof - hope to get some better photos done soon

My GTI was ordered last week in June, I had a confirmed build week that was last week. Not heard anything and the track my VW hasn't changed. Has this happened to anyone else?

Cant wait to get it! Some of the reviews and pictures on here have been great!
