Only a day to go till the show. I hope many of you turn up and say hello and have a chat. Would be nice to get to match some faces with names!

Bstardchild, going to be a tight squeeze but it will be worth it, hope you do collect it tomorrow afternoon and nothing else goes wrong! Found what you were asking me about the other day so shall be bringing it along with me.

Yeah I finish work at 5pm so I reckon I should get what I need to do done in time as long as it doesn't rain

Nearside indicator replacement bought after VW ones are on back order - overnight via ANC...

Front grill lower trim that goes under the headlights was damaged on delivery so new one needs to be sourced, prepped and painted plus fitted prior to pick up

New front plate only arrived this morning so I had to run that up to him this morning

I'm getting stressed.....

On the plus side it looks nice 8) Couple of subtle mods have been done while it's in the paintshop and I think they'll look great

See you there guys - I'll be the one with no visible fingerprints and shades (to hide the bloodshot eyes  and cos it will be shiney 8) )

Pics - it's bloody dark out there!!!

It's 1130pm and she's ready for tommorrow last mod finished but not fitted - guess I'd better take some screwdrivers

It's got to go back for some minor remedial work - found one run in the laquer and a tiny bit of orage peel on the front edge of the bonnet - but I'm being picky - it looks superb 8)

It was a good day - but boy did it rain a few times....

I wasn't the best company in the world - but after a sleep in the afternoon I was fine

I'm old see - need to take a cat nap in the afternoon if I've been burning the candles at both ends.....

We had a combined MK-IV / UK Polo's stand and it looked really good with a different colour everycar and a polo/golf/polo/golf layout.....

Worked really well till we realised the only car left was Dubpolo's so we stuck it at the back

I'll be along tomorrow. Car looks a mess due to a really dodgy wing respray, doesn't start properly, rattles lots and crunches on gearchanges atm, but who cares, it'll be good to see everyone anyway :)

Just got back :D Good day out, nice selection of cars there, good fun on the 1/4 mile sprint in an old vs new 1.0 litre competion*, met a few people, lost the cars in the most enormous carpark I've ever seen, joined in with a random convoy for a while on the way back, had a great time

* for those wondering, the mk5 1.0 eats mk2 1.0's for breakfast when the speed picks up. Great fun revving away with my peashooter exhaust with Classic FM on full volume down the sprint track though
