i've never seen anyone so dedicated to their car :)
thnx m8, dedication is high over here  Polo deserves to be treated as a princess

But here some pics (as promised) of some of the stuff from under the hood that I've sprayed so far:

Sprayed both covers for the distribution belt and the tank for washerfluid, tank for coolant is ready for spraying:

Image

Close up without flash of the distribution cover, there's just some dust on it (need to clean my room  ) It's as smooth and shiny as a newborn baby's arse! 8)

Image

And a close-up pic of the tank for the washerfluid, with the chromed cap I received yesterday:

Image

All I need to do now is spary the coolant tank, and buy me one of those chromed caps for the coolant tank and put it all in :D

Damn, it's been a while back since I've made my last up-date, haven't had a lot of time to work on the Polo :(
Building a new garage at home, I'm getting my own 2 parkingspaces, one for the Polo, and one right next to it designated to be my very own workingspot 8) No I don't have to leave the Polo outside to work on it

But this weekend finally got around to do some things on the Polo:

Starting spraying the centre and lower console:

And you can't work without this:

Image

Check out the fog from the spraycan hanging in the room   :
Image

And finished this:

The two little round thingies are for my air-rfilter to create a ram-air effect, they will be connected with a 75mm flexible hose. didn't get around to spray my middle console, cause I found some little "bumps" in it which I first want to smooth to get a good result

Aint that smoooooth.......... 8)

cool, did this on my first car, though not quite as extensively, and in blue (eek!)
looks nice, you've got a nice glassy looking surface! i left mine with awful textures on it!
but now your going to have to keep the interior polished too!

Thnx for all the very positive remarks, it's nice to hear that your work is appreciated by others :D

And I'll keep posting, but like I said, at the time I don't have a lot of free time to work on the Polo. I'll be in Newcastle for 3 weeks from monday (without the Polo :( ) for school, which also sets me back quite some time on working on the Polo

And yes, I'll have to keep my interior clean and tidy, but hey, everything for the show huh?

Hey Jarno, how's going the growning of your car?

Weel, it has been a time since I've posted an up-date here

Reason for this is that I've been abroad for quite a long time, and therefor haven't had tim eto work on the Polo. Stayed in Newcastle for over a month for school, loved the nightlife  Brittish birds r sluts
After that I spend about another month in Croatia (Croatian women are harder, but they're all fit as f*ck! ) And then went for 3 weeks to China, and belive me, you do not want to know how ugly Chinese women are

But after returing home and starting college again, I also got some itchy hands again, and started working on the Polo again.

Finally installed the last piece of my ram-air induction, the connection of the shielded Green filter to my grill, no it catches wind while driving, which gives it some forced induction and cold air only:
Image

Image

This is really noticable while driving  I was stunned by the change in engine feeling, especially while driving at higher speeds.

This is how it's look from the grill:
Image

Sprayed my coolant tank:
Image

And that's my digital camera in the reflection 8)
Image

Also sprayed some pieces over with which I wasn't 'happy' with, I'm a perfectionist
Image

And started with a new system for my shelf, to get more bass from the subs in the front of the car:
Image

Also bought a Xenon set on Ebay:
Image

H7 8000K, straight out of China, costed me 90 euro!!! I almost s**t myself when the seller in Hong Kong told me the price, in Holland the same set costs about 250 euro  Us Dutchmen are such cheap bastards

But the biggest surprise of all has to come, I bought a second Polo! :D

It's a Mk2 coupe, with just a 1.0 litre engine, but this baby has only run for about 50.xxx kilometres!!!!
It belonged to an old couple, got a real bargain!

Image

Image

If I have any money left in the future, this will become a RAT, but at the time I'm still spending everything on the mk4

The mk 2 will come in handy during the winter, the mk 4 is getting it's own garage and workplace, which I'm building at the time with me dad and lil' brother:

Image

And this will be the place for me and my brotehr:
Image

Image

Easily fits twoo cars, has got 1 electric door (with remote) and we're now installing all electric wiring. Now I can work on the mk 4 during the winter in a warm and dry space 8)

Thanks everyone for the welcome backs

@ Polo-powah: jep, that's my "precious", well it's my dad's, but I love that car, an 2003 Audi A6 sporting edition, with a 3.0litre V6 engine and Quattro drive. I got that beauty up to 274 km/h on the German Autobahn, and even on those speeds the Quattro keeps it perfectly on the road, there's no difference in driving 260 or 120 in that car, just the sound of the wind 8)

Also got a new "thingy" for the Polo, well, haven't ordered it yet, planning to buy it on the Motorshow in Essen in December (HUGH tuning event in Germany, like the SEMA show in Las Vegas):

Image

New doorbaords with 2 16,5 cm speakerholes. Gonna spray them the same black colour as the other interior parts, and buy me an extra set of JBL compo's
