most people get stretched tyres so that the tyre fits perfectly around the arches on a lowered car, it does not look stupid what so ever!
it will only ever looked stupid on a none lowered car where there is no need for stretch.

Yea mate I Hope I also touched on that point a bit in what I stated before. But I had so much too say I couldn't say it all lol. And if ppl look at where my arches are to were my wheels sit they will see they is no physical way I can put 225/40 tyres on that. Just will not fit.

And mate do it. But ad a few of your own little touches. I admit I copied off a lad off the german forums. Am sure at the 1st page of the thread there is a pic.

Not one is really arsed if you COPY off them. We are all on here to share ideas and give advice. Be really good to see another 6r that looks like mine on here. As you feel ppl know then ppl like the look and the way the car is.

I say take a dive and get it done mate. Takes some time and a hell of a lot of money. But in my eyes it is worth it.

5 doors look euro as f**k i think, and thats the hardest chose of all, it all depends what look you are going for and what ya own tastes are

yeah i want to be different too but all i have round me are s**t chavy corsas, saxos, fiestas! there are litterally no dubs here so anything i do to it would stand out, as long as it dont turn out to have stupid lexus lights and 18" ripspeed rims im alright haha

pplp get a set of alloys from halfords and think they part of dubnortheast and think they can go to all these shows, like mt mate with the white alloys on this thread, but shhhhhh dont tell him i said this hahah

yeah my mate got a mk1 golf gti and went to halfords straight away and got the cheapest ripspeed alloys going, i refuse to go in his car even tho i love mk1's!

I thought I would finality make my own build thread on here. i got my polo back last year in July 2011.

I am pretty far through my build but no where near finished.

Agree you see so much of this - can't beat factory finish in my opinion.
It keeps me entertained I guess - also would you buy a car with all this non standard cack stuck all over it though? People just devalue their cars.

tint film mate, got it done at a place round mine called "tints" for about £30 and £5 for top brake light

nar i wouldnt dare buy a car that it already done up,

even if it is done up propa and done right up, i would never buy one done up, as they have ether ragged to s**t or even when been kept care of, but you dont have you taste and look into the car, and you dont get the excitement of modding up the car and making it look your own, now mine is almost done, i feel like i need to buy another one and start all over again, it like an addiction

i can never understand why ppl would wanna buy a car already modded, unless you are pretty lazy or just like my lass, and want it done and dusted, as she dont have a f*****g clue what to done haha

Really want coilys but I ain't asked the dealer if it would kill my warranty haha
