I'm messing around a little bit with the cluster eeprom for the lane assist menu in the MFA+ (upgraded from B to C radars).
but every time I mess up, I must revert to an old eeprom. I need the iScanCar scanner to put back the km, but I borrowed it to someone and I'm waiting for it to return.

haha but this one is illuminated in white
mine will do the same trick, you can pull it out on 'auto' but it will not ignite the fog lights.

true, yours are directly to the fog light relay and fog lights.
but, your rear fog is through BCM, right?

iichel, ..... VW, you and especially me Image know how to manage the 6R rear foglight in OEM way without faults in BCM diagnosis.

In any case, everything was perfectly explained in the 5G0 light switch image, you just have to look at the details.

haha yes but you know how bad I am at finding these little details in these pictures of you

- red locking tabs on the light switch
- windows laptop with a huge task tray
- golf 7 version, white lights
- no modifications so far to the PCB

knowing myself, i'll probably have to modify the light switch conditions with all the possible variations etc etc. so about one million relays and diodes.
the easiest way would be to to simply replace the axis of the rotary switch but it's quite difficult to disassemble this.

Snow in Switzerland.

Done some small repairs/updates
Replace an innocent fuse, murdered for no reason. Headlight washers have regained full function.
Replaced standard 68Ah battery with VW (Varta) 105Ah to make life a bit easier.

for my Golf 7 light switch, the back of the 5ND switch was a 1:1 swap, I can still use the 8E0 connector 8)

... this wiring is for my tests, in OEM way, logically. Later, when everything works correctly, there will be only one connector.
Bit to bit (secrets will be revealed sooner or later). :)
The problem, as ever, "the available Time", right now I have several open ideas and small bug fixes for other new installations.
(you know, receive parts, etc)

Too many ideas, too many parts, too long shipping, too little time
