You have thought about selling up a couple of times now mate, much like I did with my GTI so just have a good long think before you spend any big money on it again.
What you don’t want is to spend another 2 or 3k on the Polo with your Air ride, interior bits etc only to want to sell up again a few months down the line

It's not a criticism mate but well worth thinking about, I made a tough decision with my GTI and eventually sold up which was the right thing to do at the time despite being gutted to see the car go, if you have tried to sell the car then it's always a sign that you want something else. It's often worth cutting your losses and accepting a lower price just so you can move on to your next car, let’s face it we all let our cars go for less than we actually want.

Respect if you keep it but selling up wouldn't be a bad idea either, you can only take a car so far at the end of the day

Air helpers are like what lambos have or sport cars like that, they lift the nose of the car to get over speed bumps etc.

The kit is called a static+ kit and there only like £700 with the tank and top mounts etc.... Pretty cool tbh. Press a button and instant lows and press it agin for no scrubbing...

Yeah il have to take less than i want now. Il keep me show wheels and sell them separate and just sell with the g60s. And il loose the subs and amps so I can sell that gear cheaper....

Will advertise it again on eBay as a classified..... Thinking about it your write, il just sell it and cut my losses, it's gone pretty far winning shows and being featured so that's more than most on here. Any other forum cars been featured in an actual big mag like fast car etc????

TROTTA'S progress thread *.!IM GOING THE WHOLE HOG!.*

I had a 106 that was featured in "modified monthly"

Makes us about even ;-)

In all serious mate I think splitting a few bits and lowering the price will be the quickest way to sell it, just depends on how far you go. I think audio and wheels, you don't want to start ripping out the interior etc.....

Far from even Christopher, 106 are French Cr*p lol

I think bens right mate as you've thought about selling and actually tried to sell there's no point spendin a lot more on it just to sell it again in few months cos we all know we'll never get it back and it'll never be appreciated as much as when you had it cos you've put a lot of time and effort into it.

Like you said split few things down and sell separate but don't put back to standard

Yeah I suppose your write, well it's on eBay again.!

As a classified add so should be good. Although I have been offered £5 to take it in the ass from an idiot on eBay : /.... And I got a phonecall about the car so answered it and it was just some agency wanting to advertise it for me for a percentage... So twice today I thought i sold it and twice was time wasters : (.... Fml!

£4K is not a bad offer to be fair, certainly worth considering if you sell the show wheels separately

Have you decided what you’re getting next yet mate?

Yeah I'd take £4000 without the show wheels but matey really wants the wheels and car for £4000 and I just think it's worth more than £4000 with the wheels. Plus I have to put me plate on retention so that's another £120 quid think. There's alot of interest still and like 13 days left on eBay so will see what happens.

Iv decided on an s2000 really but my second choice will be an integra dc5 type r if not. Either way it's vtec baby ha.....

Nice one mate, yeah be firm with the price he's obviously trying to get a really good deal but you cant drop your pants too much

Maybe meet him in the middle and say £4250?

S2000 and DC5 are both great cars mate, the S2000 has soo much more potential though but they can be hand full being RWD.
TDI north have just made some immense stage 1 drop in cams for the EP3/FN2/DC5 so if you get an Integra deffo add them to your shopping list 8)

K20 engine can handle 350/400bhp on stock internals whereas the F20 in the S2000 can handle 700bhp on standard internals lol crazy stuff  forged internals stock
