Excellent weekend!

Shame the weather was so awful on the Saturday, but was a bit better on the Sunday. I've even got sunburn on the top my head and nose .

I managed to get a 8.77s 0-60, and 16.8 1/4 mile on the strip. That was my first ever go down it, although I did have a few unofficial runs down the runway on the way in . Sorry I didnt catch you again Dan for another blast down the strip, didnt see you again after I went off for my results.

Also just wanted to say Thanks to Doug for sorting everything out for stand - nice one mate :P
It was a bit surreal being the ONLY Polo on the stand on the Saturday, bet thats a first for UK-POLOS

Has anyone seen the Sprint results on the GTI website yet. Their are a few familiar names on there: Tom, Dean, Chris (olop_chris), Sidaba
Looks like they've just put down the top so many per cent or something

Sundays 1/4 mile results HERE

At least they put your names down! I'm Mr Unknown unknown!

6th for 0-60 @ 7.09
7th for 1/4 mile @ 15.931

Not great but i had only minutes beforehand had my remap! So a little too much wheelspin, a bad change into 3rd gear and the fact i let off the gas before the finish line  i'm pretty pleased!

At least you lot got on the list  - Although I went in the Polo/Lupo class, I probably should have gone in the diesel class. It still wouldn't have got me on that list though

I thought you said you wouldn't be going down the strip mate, so I wasn't really looking for you in the list
