well ive primered it for the second time, got another can which ill do on friday, and then sand it down on sunday getting it ready for indigo blue paint. im at work on saturday matey! was finking of getting PeeJ to do the service for me of he not busy, by the way my oil change message indicator come up this morning llolll
Well if PJ services your car that's me sorted because I've got my own car to do tomorrow. You might as well service it while I'm working on the Cavalier turbo. Got s**t loads to do on the taxi tomorrow.

Your oil light is not a problem just reset it after the service tomorrow and your set. Let me know if you need a hand with the wing. Just remember to spray nice and easy don't just hold the can and think your doing an awesome job because that'll lead to over spray lol. So tomorrows on then ye we got 2 cars need doing. Mines been on Axel stands all this week and I'm not happy about that.

Hey Raz

Perhaps I've missed it but did you ever post the figures for your car? I'd really like to know what kind of power it's pushing out! I'm considering a TDI for next year :D

Your induction kit didn't make any difference to the car in fact it run poor with it on. It was noisey and a crap drive!!! Standard filter it runs a lot smoother.

Anyway there is a rolling road event in March I've put my name down for it I'm gonna take the cav turbo 4x4 and well even though its a vauxhall scene your more than welcome. You'll be able to get your car set up on the rollers as well. Anyway enough of Vauxhall talk some one might die hearing that name. Peace out brother!

Nice! Definitely want to upgrade to a TDI next year... thought about a GTI but there's a bit of a lack of MPG with the GTI. TDI = Power + MPG

yeah they are legal. I went into car audio security and saw the sign up that they are taking orders. so my brother got me a pair. i know the guys there so they didnt ask me for any v5 documents :D i placed them on order and they came like 3 days later. they are stamped in the corner BSAU145D which means they are legal, they cost me 30 quid i think thats same as dubmeister.

cheers tim. The sticky pads from the old number plate was hard to take off so used hot water , didnt help much so used white spirit and it came right off.

Next is to lower it again lol. had to take coilies off because i had severe back problems .. Tim do you know any other good coilovers around the 300 quid mark that are better then the hottuning ones. dont get me wrong they were good but too stiff.

I dont sorry mate, fairly good kits seem to start around £450.

You've Ap for around that price - decent but have heard to seize quite easily.

You've got Weitec GT hicons - meant to be really good, but they start at £488.

Then just looking on the venom website you've got PI VMaxx and Gmax coilovers, all within the £400-500 price range.

i think hottuning it is! the damn number plate was coming off this mornign because it rained a lot last night. the rear ones managed to hold SOLID. so bought more foam take and also used no more nails glue go bond a few other bits. seems solid now

I've never had an issue with the foam tape, couple of tabs either side of the plate holds everything solid.

Did you ensure both surfaces were 100% dry and clean before hand?

Another thing you can try to hold it that won't be a messy result is heavy duty velcro, you can get it from B&Q and Halfords. I use that to secure my front plate to my brackets and that's really good also.
