well the lad that sold me my car told me this as he was a mate, but u never know it may be different for different garages

yeah best thing to do is ask my own dealer, but i hope they say the same thing

its the same everywhere, you only void the warranty on whatever you mod and whatever fault they can link it to

last night i got pulled by ARMED police of all people, about my German plates, i played dumb and got let off but got s**t English pressed plates on now gutted to say the least,

but just had a crack on with him and he was canny to me, even when my insurance was down as NB11 and not ND11 so my car didn't come up on the database so i was s**t it thinking they where gana cease my polo, but problem was sorted and had to change my plates , i really don't understand why as long as you can read them

No way! Thought pressed plates were legal? :S

pressed plates are mate, i got pressed on now, aslong as you have the postcode of where the plates where printed along the bottom and the maker code on the side of the bottom

and so they are the normal English font and don't have the "D" at the side unless it is a German import
