Noticed that Apr was looking for a test gti to develop a map for it just wondering if it was anyone on here?

Be nice to see what they come up with, I did like the Apr map on my 9n3

My flash red 3 door arrived in the UK on Tuesday, so hopefully should get it some time next week.. Hope it's not quite as disappointing to drive as I have found my 6R GTI to be!!

I had the 6r too, think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Fingers crossed!! Am looking forward to having a manual gearbox and the extra torque!! How good are the headlights? I've heard conflicting views regarding Xenon vs LED..

Personally I prefer the LED headlights. They give a more daylight spread of light with their blue/white colour.

Mine is due to arrive in the UK on Tuesday, dealer even sent me a tracker for the boat

Anyone got any idea how long it takes from arriving at port to being able to take it home? Just picked up all of my washing stuff too, bought an autobrite hd lance with their magifoam, and the autoglym super resin polish and high gloss I've always used. What do you guys use?

Try some Autoglym HD wax over the super resin, expense but a pot will last u ages

Am tempted by a tuning box - as long as it's definitely not detectable (once removed) by VW.. Am worried if I get a remap and something goes wrong I will have a huge bill!

Apparently a tuning box should get it to 252hp and 295 ft lb's which is pretty impressive..

I was expecting mine to go into build tomorrow but I've had an email today saying that it's in transit. Really nice surprise and not long to go hopefully. I use Autoglym HD also and cannot commend it enough!
