by the way, does your steering wheel from 6C also have a 'double' function button? on my car, the mute button and the speak button, they both activate the voice activation. we have the same coding for the multifunction module

No, my buttons work perfectly. You should check codings in bcm, radio navigation and Bluetooth module, and must play with codings to find what suits your needs.
This new coding to solve the problem with the new installation of father's car ... you know

I have good news for you about your external gateway BlueGT, it will be better tell you by email because some Bluegt have no this type of gateway.

Precisely your BlueGT has a different Gateway than iichel's BlueGT (according VCDS autoscan). Your Gateway is virtual, integrated within BCM.
From 2013 some Bluemotion have Gateway and others haven't, from 2009 to 2013 all Bluemotion 6R have real Gateway. It is Very Important to know this for future mods.
If you have an image of the glovebox area (with the glovebox removed) sharing it with me (here or by email, whatever you prefer). It would be similar to what you see in the recent video (test 1) of my R-line (wires, HLRU, MDI).

I will be taking the glove box out soon, because the light (in the globe box) isn't working, I will take a picture then...

Yes, but... there an electronic component in the wire that is connected to that pin.
