By the way, HBA has been well recognized in the autoscan with VCDS, without faults. Next step it's the hardest part, finding in this new BCM the bit or bits which activate the system. After the tests ...

The first tests for "light assist" have been a disastrous, the wiring is not connected to the right place, must also be modified the original wiring (slightly, under study).
In this way this process has become highly interesting for me but I fear that will be extended in the time.

I'm still working on it with the multimeterImage... I just need to find a (PIN) function in new BCM so that everything works as it should.
I think it is T73b/8 (_in), but I am no sure of this.

By the way,
with 7E0937090:
- Dash panel CAN bus also is used to other function.
with new Stalks:
- T41 wires must be modified slightly, also some wires on BCM, Fuse box, and light switch connector. (easy)

Looking in ETKA the BCM 7e0937090 is not for scirocco, but for Beetle, Transporter and Up!... and none of them supports pr-code 8G1 (high beam assist). Really looking forward to see your result :)
... and then installing it my 6R 2011 with seperate gateway (then I've just have to change all the wires to get rid of the old gateway :twisted: )

Can 7e0937090 be coded to [20-High Beam Assist] ?

A Jetta BCM uses the same connectors as the Polo BCM, but it supports Ligt Assist. 5K0 937 087 AK.. Could it be that BCM you are using?

Jetta AW1 (high version) has a gateway (7n0907530ap) - it might also support [20-High Beam Assist], but does it support CAN 1.6 for the steering assist in the Polo?

Wow - just ignore this post - it's just a lot of thoughts how to get Light Assist working.... :shock:

In this BCM 7E0937090 the CAN bus for camera is through the communication network of instrument cluster, so I think it's perfect to avoid problems with Transport Protocol.
At a first time I thought it would be as it always was, through powertrain CAN bus, but I was wrong. (Test 1, total failure)

The work with wires "for me only" is still hard because I'm not a soothsayer :lol:, I do not have diagrams ElsaWin for this. Anyway now it is in the right direction. :D
Next steps, make diagrams, installing wires correctly (OEM) on the car and do the Test 2, perhaps in a week or when I can to have time to do it.

Hmm... Looking in ETKA there is only 24 different models to choose between.
I'm sooo close to order a new one, but it would be much better to find a used one for half the price..

- scheme for HBA it's made.

highbeam assist does not have a seperate pin so that one can be ruled out.

so er need to find something that T6 has but Polo 6R does not have

maybe LED headlights (sorry to keep coming back to this)
maybe automatic cruise control sensor
maybe not :lol:

Okay my dear friend iichel, I want tell you that the Byte for control units of LED headlights is Byte29, bit 5 & 6 (you can see when you activate this setting with VCDS... in faults :lol: )
The matter of "Light Assist" already solved, you're late for thisImage, ... my question about T73a/9, T73b/69 is a simple curiosity. :wink:
Maybe one of both pins is related with ...
