Also Andy you're driving around in a lovely 65 plate. Those of us who had our cars relatively early are in 15 plate old bangers. ;)

Cheers, well first impressions very good. One quick question to u who have em longer than me. When I put ignition on the dials light up bright, then dimmed, do they do that wen I put my lights on as u don't need em so bright at night ,not had chance to look at manual yet

Looks great Andy and glad your first impressions are good given your epic wait. Will be interested in your views once you have had a chance of a proper drive. I think you got the sport pack (?) and so would be good to get your opinion on that. Opinions seem to be mixed. That is my only slight gripe that I didn't get any proper information from the dealer at the time to make an informed decision. I think my car set up is apparently half way between normal and sport but that isn't official information as far as I know. Well it's too late now and the car drives perfectly well as it is. Do have fun and enjoy!

Give her a few miles to get run in and wait until the oil is up to temp (up and down arrows on the steering wheel when you've got the centre console on driving data) - seems to settle about 103°C on mine when up to temp - before giving her the first lot of welly. Be warned the steerings a bit sharp in sport mode first time. You'll get used to it but the XPS thing really does pull the front round quickly when you've got any pace on.

Hope she's all you wanted her to be! 8)
